Ru is a Writer-Illustrator based in Bath, UK. Graduated from Falmouth university with a BA in illustration and a MA in (Design) illustration from Bath Spa. 2025 Porthleven prize awardee. Currently working as a freelance commercial design and illustration artist, with an emphasis on narrative illustration.
Works mostly in traditional media,(mainly pen and ink), and mixed media digital. she has a strong basis in drawing and drafting.
When she’s not working she spends her time playing guitar, reading and running Dungeons and Dragons with her friends.
